IT部门在大多数银行中被定位为成本部门，因此，银行的IT部门更应该考虑是否对利润部门的工作产生了促进作用，而不是有时甚至妨碍了利润部门的工作效率。
当业务拉动IT时，只能说IT用来简化了工作；当IT驱动业务时，才体现了两者结合的创造力。
